Wynncraft Texture Pack Crashes My Minecraft

So, um... yeah, anytime I try to download the server pack, my minecraft instantaneously just crashes itself, and i have no idea why. My only guess is when I boot it up the loading of the textures just make it crash, you guys know how to fix this problem. It's been a while since I've been on the server, and I've seen that a lot of stuff has changed, but my computer just doesn't like the Pack for some reason. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm using 1.9.4 with optifine and a minimap mod, but I've been able to do this with other servers in the past, so I'm stumped to see why it's not working here

 

Then don't use forge. Use 1.8.9 without forge, I mean you don't really need that minimap mod anyway. I already memorized the entire map, you should too.

 

Okay, I'll see how 1.8.9 handles before I try non-forge

 

Case solved, Forge and 3D texture packs are incompatible

 

1.8.8 and forge, works with the 3d textures to my knowledge. However 1.10 and 1.9 forge cause some texture errors for me.

 

WynnCraft is 1.8.9 compliant. Any version of MC higher than 1.8.9 is not recommended. Forge works fine with 3D texture packs. I'm running 1.8.9 and Forge 1.8.9, with Optifine, with a minimap, and have been doing so for months now, without any problems.
