SPOILER Why Is Grimtrap Built To Be A Cactus

u get an average grimtrap and even if u have full normal armor and like 5k hp just by holding the grimtrap you are unkillable
let me give u an example
u have a 70% thrones grimtrap with like 400 lifesteal
u get hit , enemy takes damage and ur lifesteal heals u back
ur simply unkillable
and thats without even trying to be a cactus , just by holding the weapon
mybe the problem with cactus builds is that soooo many items encourge them and there are items you simply cant use if u dont wanna be a cactus
items like grim who simply give u all you need to be acactus alone are what breaks the game

Cactus builds are perfectly fine, it's just the lifesteal activating upon thorns/reflection that is NOT fine.

It's getting fixed.

also you would die with 5k hp as a lot of spells can do over 10k hp in one hit

 

Also, all you have to do at that point is do more than 400 damage lol. or be a mage

 

Lifesteal isn't even meant to activate with thorns/reflection, it'll be fixed.

 

several abilities like , multi hit , smoke bomb , arrows storm , bash , upper cut , and more do damage in a few hits making it very hard to out damage the life steal

 

It isn't designed to be a cactus because cactus builds were never intended to be a thing at all, they're all based on a bug.

 

what bug?

 

The bug where life steal triggers when thorns or reflection activates, allowing you to essentially win every fight by doing nothing.

but honestly even if the bug is fixed cactus builds are gonna be pretty broken , a cactus mage will be just as good and if u get statue boots with 100% thrones you probably will win against most classes

 

You still take the damage so unless you have a massive health advantage...

giving you 10k already
only tanks can take you and even for them its pretty hard
