Media What It's Like To Have Max Walk Speed.

Ive decided to take it upon myself to find out what max walk speed feels like! Please let me know if these stats are wrong.

So first we need to find out what max walk speed items are.

Armor

Helmet: Aries: 33% Walkspeed
Chestplate: Booster Plate: 26% Walkspeed
Leggings: Saggitarus(Or however you spell it): 20% Walkspeed.
Boots: Almuj's Walker: 33% Walkspeed.

Accessories

Rings: Raging Wind x2: 16% Walkspeed.
Bracelet: Contrail: 13% Walkspeed I believe?
Necklace: Automobilizer: 13% Walkspeed I believe?

Weapon: Straitformis: 91% Walkspeed

The total Ids come to 261% Walkspeed. Since 20% Walkspeed equals one level of speed, archers speed 3 adds another 60% on, bringing our grand total to 321% Walkspeed.

If we divide 321 by 20, you get 16.05, which I rounded to 16.

Too experience what it feels like to have max Walkspeed:
1: Go to single player and create a new world. Put cheats on.
2: Use /effect (Your username) 1 100000 15.
This will give you speed 16.

actually I think that command is wrong since if you want speed 16 I THINK you put 15 instead of 16 because the third number is the effect modifier not level. (I THINK!)

 

Think of a 40/40 white horse's speed, multiplied by 3 or something

and without any lag either

I'd imagine that's what max walk speed is like.

I saw it and that is what inspired me to make this. As for potions, what are max potions of agility? I'll add those in.

 

I'm saying that in the command the third number you input is known as the effect multiplier so when you want to achieve speed 16 you set the multiplier at 15. idk just something I heard

 

In programming you count from zero, which is why in minecraft when you type /effect name x y 16 you actually get level 17 of that effect, since typing 0 would give you level 1.

Eh, depends on whether or not they accounted for that in the code of Minecraft by adjusting for code being in Whole numbers rather than Natural numbers.

 

You can see for yourself by giving yourself any effect with 1 as the last number. You will see in your inventory that you have level II of that effect.
