Tips For Those That Suck At Parkour?

Parkour is the death of me (literally, sometimes)

I'm trying to do the Taproot quest, and I am stuck on the Lobelia. I have the right tree, and I just... I have been trying to parkour up it for a solid twenty minutes and I am beyond awful - any ideas to help me out?

(I'm assassin class, just for an idea of my limited ability to help myself)

 

While I don't remember what you were supposed to do there, I believe I'm decent at Minecraft parkour, so here's something, I guess.

If you're having difficulties, look directly in the direction you're trying to jump. Might make it easier.

Use Vanish once your Mana is nearly or fully regenerated, to make jumps less difficult.

Make sure to sprint on any jumps with a two block gap or higher, as walk-jumping a two block gap can be missed easily.

Hold shift right before you hit the block so you don't run off.

The maximum distance someone can jump without Speed or Jump Boost is four blocks straight, and three blocks diagonally. Might give you an idea of what to do, and when.

If there are mobs (I remember there are in Shattered Minds, for when you get there) use Vanish to avoid them rather than die from being knocked off.

Make sure you don't have like -30% walk speed. If you can, +walk speed helps you so much.
Yea I know that feel bro, I have bad memory at Taproot quest too.

You are doing it the hard way as an assassin. In all honesty I changed classes at level 45 solely because I saw every other class use their movement spells to avoid some parkour.
I know I have gotten much better at it since I started Wynn in January.
You will soon get to the most vicious, most sadistic, most unfriendly quest ever devised for us parkour deficient players.

Practice, practice, practice. Or do what I eventually did to get past the Elven Nightmare.
I had an eight year old do it for me. Twice because there was a problem the first time.

 

Dont even start purple and blue quest then

 

Worst comes to worst, the parkour in Aldorei's Secret Part II and Purple and Blue will be the most painful. If you're experiencing lag, then it might as well be the death of you. (You'll see why)
