Wynnexcavation Site A

I have been having some problems with this quest that will not let me move on. I went through the temple, got all the way to the pharaoh and went through the black area in the back. After I went through, i was teleported to the top starting room and got a message saying "quest book updated". My quest book says to go talk to excavator Vade but i cant. This is very frustrating, please help. Suggestions welcome.

 

This might be a dumb question, but did you kill the pharaoh and get the yellow crystal? You just mentioned that you went through the teleporter.

 

You probably didn't kill Pharaoh Nabak and get the Yellow Crystal Shard. Kill him and then return to Excavator Vade for your reward.

 

yea i didn't kill the pharaoh. I feel dumb!
