Why The Tm

I don't seem to understand why people keep putting TM next to the word soon when they are talking about the update, please tell me why.

It's used to express how "soon" is unrealistic, as whenever updates were to be released "soon" in the past, they were not released for a very long time. This led to the community making fun of the term, adding a trademark to the word.

 

It's just a meme we came up with because Salted kept saying Soon when he was asked about release dates. I think people added the ™ just for fun.

 

Because all those servers that also use "soon" as a joke are going to have their asses sued by us! We were the first ones! /s

 

Soon™ is a word, trademarked by Salted. Originally, it was used to delay updates, however, now you can find it in any situation where a person tries to throw in a joke.
