For Those Who Are Builders

Not sure if you're allowed to talk about it, but I was just curious as to if there was any specific style of building you guys are required to use, or do you guys just grab blocks that fit the palette and go ham? I've noticed some of the buildings, like in Detlas, have the same palette, but are built differently.

 

Why would they need to use a style or template? The amazing thing about wynncraft is that there are no two places alike.

 

Not sure you understood my question friendo, I'm asking about one city like Detlas. It has a very rustic kind of vibe to it, but the buildings are built in a different manner. But they have the same palette, I was simply curious if they use a certain style that Grian wants, or if they just discuss what they want said place to look like, and go off from there. I'm trying to better my building skills so I can apply for the team, but I'm not sure what they want specifically in terms of style. I'm very interested in both Rustic and Victorian, but I'm unsure as to if the build team is willing to accept Victorianish style buildings.

Rustic. We build rustic houses to please the almighty NPCGrian.

 

There is no style or template or anything like that. The builders choose themes/palettes for each area, but nothing past that.

Usually, when starting a new project, such as a dungeon or a town, we get a few people to interpret the theme, and build accordingly for a bit. If we like what these have done, we move along with the style. If we do not, we add changes to the style that has been constructed by them. There's always people to judge the style, and most of times, we run with what the majority likes, unless a managing power states otherwise.
