Um..

So, while going through all the unidentified diamond armor I have from my old account, I came across two chestplates called Montefiore.. it seems they still have the old layout. I think I have seen a couple of threads about this but I don't recall seeing an answer.

 

If I recall correctly, they still have the old identification because of am accent in the name. The staff is doing their best to fix this.

The staff won't fix this.
You can either keep the glitched items or throw them away.
Trading them is bannable.

 

They won't? Are you sure? I had a glithed fierte and the staff fixed that one.

 

glitched as in purple code stuff or glitched as in it stayed the way it was pre gavel?

 

If we're talking about the purple code, simply relogging does the trick for my friends and I. As for the accented names, the staff have already fixed quite a few of them.

 

I remember having a glitched wand when I first played Gavel, after a while, it fixed itself.
It was glitched with the purple code.

 

Purple cide fixes itself after some time.
Accented names do not.

The new accented items work fine but the ones from before gavel are stuck that way.

 

Except mine did have an accented name.
I believe it was for around lvl 45.

 

Please differ between the three glitched forms.
The first are items that have a purple code, this can happen to all items and fixrs itself.
Second are items that kept their pre gavel appearance. This won't get fixed altho a new version of the items now drops from mobs.
Third are items with accented letters, these items loose thier lore and the name turns white. This won't get fixed although a new fixed version drops from mobs.

 

Mine was an item with an accent, with purple code, that was perfectly usable after a while.

I had the same issue too, but with a fierte. I rejoined Wynn after the gavel update came out and couldn't use my spear so I made a forum post about it, I can link you if you want, and about a week later, my spear was fixed.
