Yahya already has a home. In Wynn. Anyways, while there's a ton of cool stuff we could do, it's more of a question of what we should do. It's not that we need ideas for new types of biomes, it's that we need to make sure we can fill it with an adequate amount of content before we just go ahead and build it.

Well the light realm is kind of a giant mushroom biome so I think that one is sorted, if that's what you mean.

What if the rocky desert were behind molten heights or Sky Islands, and for levels 95+? There are already 2 areas for level 70 (light and dark forest) so having Sky Islands and the rocky desert for 95+ shouldn't be much of a problem. The entrance could be somewhere on the border between molten heights and sky islands so that the progression path is still kind of a zig-zag if the Z axis is an important factor of the progression path too. Or if there is a small level cap increase (like from 70-75 in wynn) from 101 to 105 or 110, the rocky desert could be for that level range. It would also probably be more of a major area in that case. So what do you think, would that be feasible?

It would be feasible yes but I think there will be plenty of space for content. It's got almost as much space as the canyon, with less intrusive mountains and stuff. I think we'll be fine. But yes, theoretically, if we ever wanted to add more biomes, I suppose that could be an option. I just doubt that we will.

Grayscale plains with lore behind it would be cool, the "boring" is what makes the area. Barren, desolate, few creatures that live there, even the hostile ones have fled the area. It would be a weird but interesting feeling to walk through this area that's been completely destroyed of any natural life, so much so to even lose it's colour. Kinda gimmicky, but cool.

As for glass trees, what about the crystal blossom trees in CotL?

    True, I agree.
These kind of areas can be so cool, it can really help a player immerse themselves into that world.
I remember even back to when I went to Time Valley for the first time, the place was so quiet with no creature in sight yet with the ruins and lack of music it made the idea of a strange magic being present extremely believable. So many times I would wonder: what happened here?
I can't remember how many times I would forget that I wasn't really there, and to me if a story has made me feel that then it has done its job, be it a Movie, book, or game.

Aside from that, these places that are void of such things seem to tell the best stories.

You have a point but remember that gavel is supposed to be full of magic and a desert doesn't feel that magical imo, it's more desolate than magical. As for a snowy biome... It wouldn't fit in with gavel's theme but I guess we have freezing heights but that's not really a biome sooooooo.... I think u get my point tho
