Which of these weapons should I use?

 

I would recommend the thunderbolt, for a few reasons, it is much faster. This is better because even though it has lower damage you can deal more faster, quickly making it better than the other, without all the harsh de-buffs that the other weapon gives.

Cross Aegis isn't necessarily worse than Thunderbolt. Yes, Thunderbolt will be dealing much more damage than Aegis, but Thunderbolt lacks the extra bulk and recovery that Aegis grants.

In short, for a damage focussed build/playstyle, go with Thunderbolt, for a defense oriented playstyle, use Cross Aegis.

Thanks for the advice! Maybe this could help me with questing and getting a better arsenal of gear.

 

Since you have the requirements for both, just use both. Hold Cross-Aegis normally to tank surprise attacks and with its +HP and for its increased regen. Use Thunderbolt for battles thanks to its high damage output. If you get hurt during that battle just leave holding Cross-Aegis again.

I think you should pick whatever
