Christmas Chaos Quest Problems...

So, I played this server a lot about a year back, and got stuck on the Christmas Chaos Quest, and eventually just gave up. Recently, a friend has encouraged me to start playing again and it's really fun. Only thing is, I can't finish the Quest. I got as far as where I need to "Return to the present and report back to Santa." Well when I try to talk to Santa, I can't. I don't know if resetting quests is a thing or if there is any fix for this, It's just very annoying seeing an unfinished quest pop up.

 

Did you kill the boss at the end and get the drop?

redo the quest, look on the wiki for the steps.

 

If @pretzellover33 's solution didn't work, or any of the other solutions, it could be because the quest is only offered during the holidays. That may be why. Again, I'm not sure.
