Need Advice On This Build?

So I've been thinking about something and wondering: Will this work?
I've decided there's nobody better to ask than the community.
So here's the build.
Helmet: Cancer. Here me out on this one. I know the -% melee damage does hurt, but it's not like Mage uses it much anyways. The + Teir attack speed boosts spell damage insanely when the -% spell damage is canceled out by your weapon, Pure.

Chestplate: Dreamcloud. Purely for mana regen. B/c cancer requires 105 Dex, you can't have 110 intelligence, which is needed for Aquarias.

Leggings: Crystal. Mana regen, Reflection and a bit of agility, Intel, and walk speed.

Boots: Memento: Just perfect for Mage. Mana regen, spell damage and more spell damage. The - lifesteal does hurt but you won't be using the normal melee much.

Accesories:
Ring 1: Suppresion. You pretty much have no melee damage, so no point in attacking. Then you won't have to worry about Mana steal.

The rest of our Accesories are the jester set. Skill points, 5% walk speed and 300 spell damage. Can't go wrong.

Weapons:
Pure. Duh. This is maybe the only weapon that works cause of the insane % spell damage is able to cancel out cancer's - spell damage.

Main stats:
These are all maxed/ good stats.
Mana regen: 13/4. Good enough.
Spell damage: 400
Spell damage %: around 350 with a decent pure.
HP: 3200 From Cancer, 1800 from Dreamcloud, 1950 From Crystal, 3000 from memento. If you subtract the 200 health lost from Suppresion and Jester Set, you get 8,750 Health. not bad.

Tell me what you guys think?

 

Skill Points are a problem, You need 110 Int for Aquarius and 105 Dex for Cancer, Crystal requires 30 agi, So it might be impossible to make this build, not sure tho.

 

I had no idea cancer required this. Guess it won't work unless I find something that requires less Intel than Aquarius. Maybe dream cloud?
EDIT: yes, I do think dreamcloud would work, because it only requires 30 intellengence. So maybe skill points are: get 105 Dex somehow, changes based on jester items. Get 30 agility. 5 raw strength and defense. Rest into intellengence. What do you think of this @dotGenco ?

 

What you could do instead is, Get to level 100, 100 Int 100 Dex, Change your pants to something that gives int and dex (+5-10 on both), or Change your accesories to boost your stats (Like Finesse and Detective Ring, or jesters).

 

Level 100 is 198 skill points, not 200 b/c you don't get skill points at level 1.
Also you need 5 points in each elements to wear jester bracelet. I believe max on jester rings and bracelets skill points are 4.

 

Pure only does elemental damage I think, the raw spell damage will not be used.

 

Pure does only have elemental damage. Are you sure just normal spell damage will not be added on?

 

Pretty sure, since raw spell damage is for neutral damage.

 

It's added on, otherwise Pure would never have been a good weapon. Pre-change it was easily the most powerful Mage weapon as raw spell damage was added and THEN the total including that was multiplied by the percent spell damage meaning a max soul signal would be able to get around 6400 damage meteors with no other stat boosts and no elemental damage.
Also, easy way to test is to put on 3 jester items, take a weapon with no neutral damage and hit a villager with a spell, it'll do neutral damage to it.

 

Once you've gotten a weapon to super fast attack it will not be give any further buffs by +tier attack speed

 

I know that. That means I can buy a bad cancer if I want

 

The raw damage is still used but it isn't effected by spell percent or atk speed
