SPOILER Hidden Cave System In The Hive • Eclectic Sentry

The point is that something is up with this area, something that hasn't made it in-game yet, apparently. Also, it's not very easy to find, something of a fairly hard area to even spot. The end of the trail is a 2x2 square, that abuts an inset cleft in the mountains. It's fairly obvious to me that the trail won't end there, whenever whatever is finished on the other side of that wall.

If you needed movement spells, you found an alternate route to the one that I originally found. I walked all the way up, albeit carefully, as some parts of the path are corner-to-corner.

Even then, ask yourself, "What the heck is a Lv110 sentry doing all the way up there? What could they possibly be guarding?"
I have no idea what it is, at all, but it must be something of importance, either now, which would be the top of the path itself, or sometime in the future. I keep checking, every now and then, to see if something has changed, but nothing has. Yet.

The path that I went up had a free-roaming @Shtafjord @Selvut283 at the top. When I asked him what the path was all about he had only one answer, every time, "No comment."

 

I didn't even notice there was something at the end =o And the route doesn't require movement spells when we did it either, though naturally it helps ^-^

 

There's actually a T3 loot chest up there as well. Did you not exit the cave? It -does- get pretty dark towards the end, but you can climb around some of the webs after the cave with the Sentries.

Yes, this cave was part of the map update that introduced Gale's Tomb to the real world, after much time was spent searching for it. The day of the update, I went all around The Hive and found this cave and others, but I just didn't think it important enough to share. Since I didn't tell the world, I guess you all get credit. But good job on the formatting, you obviously spent a lot of time on making things presentable!

 

It was always there. This update actually moved it much farther back, along with expanding the hive tunnels.

Lol I found it just a few minutes ago by trying to get to the hive from the top with my archer (I'm too lazy to walk around the canyon and get lost so I just escape up onto the mountains, which I hope is allowed because there are no barriers until you get to the hive) and when I jumped down I saw the name tag but had no idea how to find it. Does it drop anything special?
