Resource Pack Not Working

The server resource pack is not working when i log on. I checked everything, when i clicked edit on the server my resource pack thing is enabled, still nothing working. I tried everything, i need help because it is confusing to play without the server resource pack

 

What version of Minecraft are you using?

If it's anything other than 1.8.x, go back to any version of 1.8 and see if that fixes things.

 

Maybe your minecraft launcher is out dated try updating it, also I didn't know how to update so I just deleted minecraft and re-downloaded it xD but you can look up on YouTube or something

 

I am using 1.9.4

I had the same problem before with 1.8 too

 

Anyone got a tutorial on how to update the minecraft launcher? I'm having the same thing and it seems like that's the only answer to stop the constant "DOWNLOAD THE PACK" msg.

pic related: the spam of "Download the texture pack" message while I was using an old 1.8 version of WynnPack I found on the bug report forums. That pack is now outdated since I now use 1.9.4

I tried to download the new Minecraft Launcher, but since my Mac is OS X 10.6.8, it won't download the new launcher. great

 

Same I have an IMac And I just deleted minecraft and re-install and stuff

 

Where did you find the resource pack, which issue # was it? Would you check your browser history and let me know, please?

 

I tried to find the page where I got the pack in my history, but the farthest I've found on my history about Github was back in April 9, and I know I didn't find it on April 9th. Also, it appears that the issue the download link to the pack was deleted, so I can't say the exact issue # it is. The only thing I remember about where I got it was that I found it from an issue where someone was complaining that the texture pack doesn't work. Other than that, I can't remember much more.
