Items were nerfed.
Enemies were buffed.

What the hell.

First off, projectile mobs are just here to annoy you.
They have knockback. You don't.
Plus, when you go to hit them with melee, they shoot you.
Then you get knocked back.
So I circle around them.
And if I can't, i'm screwed over.

Also, before, enemies were so easy to kill!
AND NOW THEY'RE NOT.
It takes me 4-5 hits to kill a Dead Miner now, when it used to only take me 2-3 hits to kill one.
This annoys me. So much so, that I think...
Wait a second...

THE HARDER MOBS AND DUMBER ITEMS ARE AN EXCUSE FOR YOU TO BUY POTIONS!
Which makes me think... Potions now have actually been buffed to a more useful state...
So... was buffing the enemies and makes the items suck just a way to get people to buy potions? Maybe.

Aside from that, the dungeons are the same.
They're easy(ish) and they're fun, just like always.
Now the Mini-Dungeon in Neesak...
That first room. Frost Warriors. Snow Minions.
Why. Everytime I go in that room and try to do that.
The Snow Minions knock me off the parkour.
They kill me.
Everytime.

Currently, i'm thinking that every enemy over lvl 40 needs a nerf. Aside from the bosses.
The bosses, like always, are great. But the enemies... they annoy me.
Honestly, i'd like to play Shadow the Hedgehog instead of this.
But sadly, i'm so addicted to this server, that I can't.

It makes me play.

It makes me die.

It makes me grind for hours.

The most entertaining rant I've seen

 

Unique play style my dick, I've played games with unique play style. Wynncraft tries so hard to make the game a little more intricate, but it should stay to its simple ways. Assassin as a whole is a fucking failure. Don't give me that "but you have to play it a certain way" bullshit. I've played assassin every way imaginable, and it's always cock and ballocks boring. Take warrior for example, simple, easy, and doesn't take much skill or planning. It's still fun and very powerful. Gavel update tried to make assassin require more thinking and skill, but it just ended up being a massively underpowered and boring class. You just get a fucking air or lightning build and spam smoke bomb. Maybe combo it with spamming left click while strafing here and there. That's it! That's fucking assassin! Also forcing players into a play style of "you gotta find other players for help to get by" is also donkey dick shit. What happened to choose your own adventure? Hm? Sure, teaming can be great and all, but players like me fucking hate teaming. Also the maps are so big, and there are so many servers running, natural player encounters are near impossible. Pick a random server, and run around canyon of the lost. I bet you won't find a single person there, because I never have! And I've spent hours there! And saying that two-shotting enemies isn't fun, is a dirty fucking lie! The player determines whether or not two-shotting enemies is fun or not! I've played a lot of rpg games, and when you're killing tends to hundreds of mobs a day, I don't want to spend too much effort fighting them! Because that's boring. Seeing everything die before my eyes is hilariously fun for me, all my hard work finally payed off! But wynncraft takes away that feeling of, "hah! I'm finally powerful! I can go and one shot enemies and wreak havoc among the denizens of this land!" Wynncraft forces players into how the developers see fit, and everyone here just nods there heads and goes with it. But that is bullshit, I want the freedom to play how I want to, I don't want to be forced into gameplay I don't want to take part in. It's like being forced to take classes you don't want to in school. K I'm done ranting.

Hence the constant buff threads, especially @XavierEXE's. I'll be looking forward to the day Assassin gets their movement buffs earlier, and for Xavier's modification to come into play.

What I'm getting from this is: because you can't kill everything in one hit, that automatically means the game is complete shit? And your "hard earned" money from grinding has to go into potions, and that's a bad thing?
If you're gonna complain like this, please just leave. The devs are doing something good by pushing the game forward to make it harder and actually require strategy, not a game where you kill everything you see in the blink of an eye. That isn't fun.

 

well if you hate the gameplay that much, you can just leave if you don't like it, even if you are addicted to the server, there is no need to create circlejerks dedicated to berating the devs on their work and how its awful.

And the enemies... well, SOME of them... not ALL of them... well... I dunno.

Y'know what? I'll try to use strategy. I already have strategy for killing most enemies, but... well, i'm never going to the House of Twain every again...

Which I still find challenging, but I find it more fun now than before... I'm just not gonna grind in Neesak.

 

Come to Gavel, that place is loads better than that icy shithole, it starts at level 40, so you're at the right level for it!

 

As a level 100 tank alk knight most of the ranged mobs in Hive fuck my shit up .-.
their dps is pretty insane; if I charge at one group another starts pinning me down so its pretty much a loop of high ranged dps and knockback until they melt me down.

 

As a level 98 glass alka warrior I can't even finish one room of Hive full of ranged mobs without 3 potions ;-;
