You forget that Igbar outright insulted Grian, Salted, and Jumla's work. Especially Salted, who commented on that thread that had to do with the deleted/privated video.

I just looked through it recently, nothing else interesting except Igbrub and Tanti debating.

 

That really isn't what happened LOL he made the video a few months after he left. The video did not make Wynncraft less popular. People are leaving cause there are nothing to do and will likely return when there is a major update, then leave again until another.

 

I'm honored to have an entire 2 page thread dedicated to me, but wouldn't it have been better to actually ask the person for whom it was pertained to?

1. Around the time I left I had already been on Wynncraft for about two and a half years, and a mod for over a year. You can only play a game for so long before you gotta call it quits. Better to leave before I do something dumb and get demoted, ya know? [strikethrough]better to wait until AFTERWARDS to do the dumb thing lmao[/strikethrough] I had some IRL things to take care of as well and didn't want to split my time with something I was already losing interest in. I had been play testing Gavel for a while so when it was released it wasn't anything new to me, so I lost all my interest in playing at that point.
   
   
2. After that I started getting my shit together and moving forward with things, and on the side I'd play Dark Souls. Turns out that Dark Souls is awesome and I fell in love with it. A little too much to be honest because after that I started comparing it to MMoRPGs. Originally my 'criticisms' video was going to be, "Why I don't like MMoRPGs" but because Wynncraft was the only MMoRPG I had truly played, I didn't want to make broad assumptions based on just the one game out of hundreds. We all know how that played out... Basically I wanted Wynncraft to be like more Dark Souls: All about skill and less about grinding until the cows come home.
   
   
3. After that ordeal I didn't want a repeat, so now I'm striving real hard to not be so god damn critical of everything and complaining when things aren't exactly to my liking. I'd say it's working out pretty well and I'm in a much better place in life than I was just a few months ago. I still check the forums about every other day so anyone's free to message me, just don't expect a speedy response.

And that's basically it. Me leaving the team had nothing to do with the video and my opinions at the time. I still think Wynncraft should ditch the grinding now instead of saying it'll be taken care of "Later" (Boy if Gavel was coming "Soon" then I'd hate to be waiting around for "Later") but that's just how I'd like things. It was pretty messed up of me to insult all the hard work that's gone into Wynncraft just because it's not to my liking.
