Music Qira, Mistress Of The Hive - Noteblocks

No, the music, not the noteblocks. Like compare the Detlas soundtrack to this. You'll see what I mean.

 

ehhhh, not the best comparison. Detlas is a town, Qira is a boss battle.

 

Detlas is Wynnic theme, Qira is Hypixel theme.

 

As it were, that my be my fault.

Users that have known me for a long time know that music is a large part of my experience with games. Even for enemies that do not have themes, I tend to listen to tracks from other sources to fill in the gap and I try to find fitting ones for the mood. This goes so far that I often plan the mood of a fight around a track that seems fitting. For instance, the Psychomancer's unofficial battle theme is Plague Knight's battle theme, The Vital Vitriol. The frenetic nature of the song encapsulated perfectly the chaotic fight with the Psychomancer constantly teleporting around like he does.

However, for Qira, I tried to simply find a theme that fit the girl herself rather than her fight. Given the classical nature, and the somewhat literal boast of "Let's dance", I found this theme to be appropriate:

From Castlevania. A completely unrelated series. I specifically recommended Needlr to this song for inspiration, though given how they are completely different genres and tones of game, the disconnect could be due to that, and if so it is my fault.

 

I find the song to fit well, it's one of my favourites. ^-^

 

So, who the hell cares!? Of course an entirely new province is going to have a different style, I don't see how this theme is related to Hypixel at all! We all hear music in different ways, and I think it's just you that see's a similarity, and "it just doesn't fit into the theme", like I've said, this is Gavel music, not Wynn music.

 

For my own sake I would appreciate ending this before it becomes a flame war, I want this thread to be not locked.

I apologize, however, I would like to add one more thing before I end this:

Almost all of the Wynn province music was made like 1-2 years ago, so Needlr probably changed the way he made noteblock music at the time Gavel was being made.

So once upon a time someone requested me to remix this song... looking at it, I don't know whether to do epic piano, epic orchestral, epic dubstep, or all three like I did with Bob's Reincarnation 0_o At least I can use this as a reference instead having to try to transcribe it from a bad-quality let's-play vid XD
