I don't know the gear for afking so please help a man out.

Life steal when im afking? That makes no sense.

 

Thorns hits an enemy when you get hit. Lifesteal applies. So when you get hit, you 100% lifesteal and get the health back. More lifesteal=More health gained when hit.
