That is not exactly true either. It all depends on your build.
Depending on your build at level 100, Ethereal could be your best weapon, so could Bob's mythic. The "best" weapon is dependent on YOUR play style.

First of all, let me apologize for this wall of text
Another thing is that this is how I feel about the topic and I'm sure many players will jave different looks on the topic
Now let's get into what the whole thread is about

There's no fun with already id'd gear
Id'ing them makes it fun bc you never know if that item will be good or bad
Im that type of guy that gets bad id's but id'ing those items builds up suspense which makes it more fun and exciting to Id them

The elemental system lets players create cool new builds that differ from others
The elemental system enables players to have a new style of gameplay
The skill points limits the gear the player can wear, therefore leading them in a specific way to combat
Take Intel for an example
Intel lets you spam spells but doesn't do hard hitting attacks
On the other hand there's Strength which allows you to hit hard but limits the amount of spells
With the right combinations, it creates a powerful build or a build that can be quite devastating depending on how you feel about it
The elemental system makes you plan on how to take on enemies
It lets you rely on them instead of plain old neutral damage
It gives the player the need to adapt in the environment they are placed in
Elements gives the game more depth
It gives the player a challenge and lets them try new ways and styles that they might like or dislike

 

Ever heard of a challenge?

 

1. Pretty sure MMO just means a multiplayer RPG
2. There are more minecraft RPGs than dungeonrealms satan's kingdom.

Have you ever played pokemon? If you have a level 40 charizard you're not going to be finding level 10 squirtles. Unless you grind for a week, which just wouldn't be worth your time, and would just suck the fun out of the game. Likewise, in Wynncraft, if you're level 1, you find level 1 mobs. If you're level 40, you find level 40 mobs. What you're saying is like going back to the Nivla forest at level 40 and fighting level 10 mobs, not being level 70 and fighting Bob.

Here's my answer and entitled opinion on what you should do.
1. You can go ahead and restart. Why? Because since everything is changed, it only is best to restart and get a new, full experience and see if your problems change (and your opinion).
2. UNDERSTAND THE FRIGGIN NEW WORLD. Wynncraft has changed entirely, you can't do the same things you did before. But it is certainly more diverse into strategy, thinking, and not simply using meteor on a dead miner.

On my opinion, YOU need to adapt to this new update, it isn't a hack and slash. It's a hack and strategy. And since you haven't comment for a bit, you're probably ignoring the majority opinion, and not taking our word. If not, go ahead, we TRY to help people like you, but sometimes you have TO DENY. Yet, we point you to the right direction, you choose your own.

 

He/she never said they wanted to be the most OP player on the server, they just don't like requirements and other stuff which I understand, that is why no one uses the chestplate Gravity, it has insane requirements and a lot of people hate requirements for items, including me.

Well, in that case Bob's Mythic still isn't, because Hive-Infused is a direct upgrade, and so is some rare wand called predsopolip or something.
