Warrior Vs. Assassin

Which class is more powerful for beating all of the end-game (level 75+) bosses? I really want to level another character, but I'm not sure which one is more powerful. Please state any pros and cons for each class. Thanks!

Play all four classes duh ;)

For the 100th times theres no superiority of one class over the other
If you're going for combat, you run into a fight gun blazing and tank up damages while killing enemies, go Warrior, easy for start and easy to finish.
If you're going for a sneaky character, dodging attacks with high walk speed and then wait for critical moment to finish enemies with spells, go Assassin, difficulty to master and play it right.

I see your main character right now is Mage, which you may often tank damage and heal yourself, if you want a newer experience then I recommend you try out Assassin. If you're more comfortable with character similar to your current play style then go Warrior :)

 

Depends on your playstyle, really. All of them can take on bosses pretty well, how well you do just depends on how good you are with your class, build, and gear.

Just to clear it up, I just want a way to kill bosses quickly without dying at the same time.

Damage.

 

I'm recommending for you to try out both and see which one you find easier to play. There's no "best" class.

 

Assassin is "stand in a corner and spam smoke bomb"
Warrior is "actually use strategy and combos to win"

 

Depends. If you're looking at the sort of things they are good at/usually have in builds...

Warrior:

-Lots of damage
-General tankiness
-Slow attack and walk speed
-Low range
-Has a spell which gives other players effects
-Mainly based around charging straight into a battle

Assassin:

-Average damage
-Below average health/tankiness/defence
-Fast attack and walk speed
-Very low range with melee attacks, but has a spell which has a decent range
-Doesn't have a spell which helps other players
-Is stealthy because of vanish
-If a mob/player has a positive effect, they can take this from them
-They can get rid of negative effects
-They are more limited in avoiding enemies if they lose/don't have enough mana for vanish, as the others have spells which can be used more than once in a short time
-Based around being stealthy and timing attacks

Both:
-Can stall enemies
-Have lower range than other classes
-Are based around melee (warrior fully, assassin depends on whether or not spells are needed/there is enough mana in use which isn't being used for vanish)
-Have higher damage than the others (if attack speed is taken into account for assassin)

But these are based around what is thought of as 'ideal' for assassin. Well, mostly. So you can have a fast warrior or an assassin which is based around dealing tonnes of damage with smoke bomb for ranged attacks.

 

I think that all four classes are pretty balanced, being skilled in some aspects and weak in others, but that's just my opinion.

 

What...that depends on your build and I don't know about warrior doing "Lots of damage" they do descent amount and same goes with assassins depending on your builds is what damage you can do.

You must have forced yourself to do that.

Eh? I am pretty darn sure there aren't passive abilities on any classes.

Yes. Definitely more of a... challenge. Muttering colorfully while glaring sidelong at all the archers amidst the upper corners of the room.

Again, can anyone 100% confirm this? Not to sound like a *****, but genuine curiosity.

Lots of assassin items have decent attack speed. Vanish gives walk speed (most of the time you have no mana, but it gives you speed 3 and there are lots of assassin-based items with walk speed.

 

Warrior is simpler to play than most other classes with its straight-forward attack spells and abilities. It deals good damage but has generally slower attack speed. In addition, it has higher defensive capability.

Assassin is tricky to play, requiring a great deal of finesse and learning exactly what your skills do and when to use them. However, proper knowledge will lead to you dominating opponents. Its attack and defense are completely baseline, no increases or reductions, however they often use faster weapons, meaning you must land your hits well to take advantage of that.


Whichever sounds more appealing to you, go for it.

 

honestly both are my main classes . i used a few builds for both and i feel like assassin is more powerful in duels and warrior against mobs

 

Warrior is an easy to play and easy to master type class, they can take a hit and deal it back. I've also found warrior to be one of the most diverse of the classes, as many skill combinations I make with it seem to work out.

Assassin is a lot more challenging. Despite what most people say, Assassin is fairly balanced. However, unlike most other classes, Assassin doesn't do well going in spears blazing. To play an Assassin you have to be careful and watch your health a lot. However, doing so rewards you with a lot of damage to deal and some pretty sweet looking daggers.

Ha. No, assassin is all strategy because 1. They are the slowest class in the game, 2. They have the worst weapons in the game, 3. They are the most close combat class in the game so they have to be constantly watching their health, and 4. Assassins are just a better class. :P

 

They have the 2nd strongest weapon.
