Since I Know How Much Everyone On This Server Hates Parkour, How About I Make A Map Dedicated To It?

I plan on calling it "Definitely not fair". It will consist of one, gigantic, nearly-impossible parkour course (even harder than wynncrafts lmao) without any checkpoints. The goal will not be to necessarily complete it, but to see how far you get (I plan on making it REALLY long). It will time you and keep track of what percentage of the way you made it. Different types of parkour included are disappearing platform parkour, ladder parkour, 4-jump fun parkour, fence parkour, any type of really evil parkour. (I'm open to suggestions)

The only problem is that I kind of suck with command blocks, and might need help setting up a scoreboard to track things such as highest distance, current time when you are attempting the course, how many deaths you have had, etc.

Would anyone play it if I made it?

-Two modes, Fucking Scrub mode and Super Kill Yourself mode (names are subject to change)
-4 Modes: Arcade (compete for distance), Speedrun/Against The Clock (30 seconds to complete a segment, must keep resetting time), Adventure Mode (a completely seperate and next-to-impossible mode which involves a small story), and Super Kill Yourself Mode (Blows up the map when you die)

I think this is the longest thread title I have ever seen.


But yeah, while I don't speak for others I wouldn't mind trying it out, even though I'm really bad at parkour (don't really hate it though)

 

Parkour is what's keeping me off the streets.

 

I would cry while playing it, but if you made it multiplayer, that would be fun to play against friends.

I might play it; I'm not much of a map person. I can somewhat help with command blocks, but I'm incredibly lazy (hence the "somewhat").

As for a suggestion for torturous parkour, try three-block diagonals! More difficult than four-block straights.

 

The second is a given. :P

What about those jumps in a 2-block space? With a roof and no room >:D

 

I'm taking suggestions for more obscure parkours (moving platforms, for instance) :P

How about blind jumps (AKA hologram jumps) where you have to jump, and THEN the blocks will show up. Pair this with fences, (if 1.9) ironbars, and awkward long and short jumps, and you got pain

How about also jumps where skeletons with max punch bows can shoot you off? you'd have to go nonstop or have amazing luck for poor aim.


Finally


Make a multi-layered tower with a lot of fence jumps, awkward jumps, and otherwise, and if you fuck up ONCE you get sent to the bottom. (Not a full restart, just redundant, repetitious agony :D)

 

ice and soul sand combinations are a must if you want a tortuous parkour

 

I'm already making it so if you fuck up once, period, you restart. Adding the others though.

 

Bump I'm totally gonna start making this soon. Not gonna gurantee it will look pretty but I'll make it hard as possible.

Also should I make it one-time-only (an armorstand spawns at your death and you can view the rest of the parkour but never attempt it again) or add a redo option? Or should I include a version with both?

 

Both. "Hardcore mode" and "n00blet mode"


Also, Make awkward corner jumps with fences and blocks with unique shapes. I.E. End rods (if 1.9), cobblestone walls, fences, iron bars & glass, ETC.

 

Ooh, 1.9 gives me a fun idea with levitation. Adding.
