Render A Nice Day In Rymek (1080p)

Hi, so I made this render of Rymek, and I hope you'll enjoy it! :D

Programs used: Blender 2.77 | Adobe Photoshop cs6


Edit: I might render eltom next, and I'll probably use a different style sky, lighting and more stuff just to refresh. (Some of my recent renders have the same style and I wanna refreash it)

I'd be interested in a process video for the water specifically. I don't and can't render, but the water and reflection is very impressive and I'd love to see what kind of work goes into it

 

9.5, 9.5!? 11/10! This is the greatest render of rymek i have ever seen. compare it to others... i endorse this!

 

I think Eltom would be absolutely beaauuuutiful in a render

 

I used a glossy material 0.01 roughness value (it's like a 99% reflection). I made the waves using a noise texture node and a wave texture node. I connected them both to a mix node (which mixes them together) and I connected the mix node to the displacement ofbthe material output. I sorta created a bump map. The water is actually flat, but with bump. (I'll send you a picture once I get home).

 

I don't think that canvas is very sturdy.
