Chestnut Horse Glitch(?)

I don't know if this is happening for anyone else, but once my Chestnut horse you to level 30, it's been acting very strange. One thing is that it sometimes spawns in for an instant and disappears, and it would take a while to actually get it to where it's usable (This isn't very common, but it does happen once or twice). It's also become very laggy and glitchy, somewhat similar to the boats, I find. I'm just curious if anyone else is affected by anything like this.

 

Are you playing in 1.9? Might be 1.9 screwing with the game mechanics.

 

That's probably what is going on. I usually play in 1.8. I don't know why I suddenly started playing in 1.9 to be honest.
