There are emeralds in GAVEL! When the villagers first sailed to Wynn, it was the first time they ever saw one!!! But, WHAT IS THIS, WHAT IS THIS! THERES MAGIC IN THE AIR!!!
Either, the content team has got it all wrong, cuz, I have heard before they are not completely aware of the lore. or, the villagers are being filthy lieing scumbags again.

What if a villager just painted these rocks green to mess with us humans?

 

It's not emeralds.It's green copper.

 

OH GOD NO

 

The villagers HAD emeralds, but they wanted MORE, so they sailed to Wynn hoping for untapped lands, then found the humans. They were going to give up, then they saw a pouch of emeralds on a human emissary, and realized that humns hd a lot of emeralds to offer. There is really nothing out of place here.

They've seen emeralds, they recognized it, it's just really rare in Gavel, and they didn't let it corrupt Gavel like Wynn people did.

 

emeralds aren't all that rare if every mob drops like 8 or so

 

I wish that was true about the tutorial, that takes forever to pass due to that.

 

Well, mobs in Gavel drop emeralds too, so I've always assumed that there were some emeralds in Gavel.

 

When thinking about it... Villagers are kinda stupid, Just like us humans in real life.

Money < Resources.

So the less money "exists", The more valuable money would be.
Emeralds their-selves are just green useless stones, They need to be gathering resources not the stuff they use as money, Because it won't really change the economy.
And yes, I know this is how our world works and as you could see I completely disagree, We need to be gathering more resources not just some useless pieces of paper, Because let's say there was an apocalypse, Will money be able to directly help you? I might be wrong but I'm just a kid, And apparently school thinks it's more important for me to know what X + Y equals then basic economy, But this story about how stupid our society is comes another time...

And yes I just turned a Wynncraft conspiracy which was obviously wrong into a real life conspiracy and a new point of view on life that would probably make you think about it the entire day and wonder what happened to this world.

should the lore have to be explained by an admin? why can't they explain it in-game through secrets and quests, rather than extremely cryptic, unfinished, unexplained 'story points' that you can find in-game? imagine if undertale had no story unless you asked toby fox, the creator of the game.
