    I need a little help on my project. I'd like to target an entity with a potion effect, sorta like this: /entitydata @e[type=zombie,effect=invisibility]

    While you're at it, please check out my wall to help out more with the project.

    Is it 1 mob? Ir a group of mobs. You can also spawn them with it.

    Another simple way of doing it would be to have the mob that has the effect, but name it. i.e /testfor @e[name=EffectMob1]

    The problem is, how would I then target the entity?

    What do you want done?
    If you want the entity to teleport, first you would summon an invisible armor stand where you want it to go, then the command /tp @e[name=EffectMob1] [@e=name=TeleportMob1]
    @e means any entity
    [name=EffectMob1] is kinda self explanatory
    :)

    But if you have a specific name for the entity with the effect, you wont need to put that in
    /entitydata @e[type=Zombie,name=test1]

    It's a countdown. They're invisible for three seconds, and then it happens.

    So you're looking for multiple entities with the same name, but you want it to testfor entities of that name, but with an effect. Right?

    EDIT:
    Ok did some research, try this command hooked to a clock (or repeat) with a comparator to another cmd block linked tot hat.
    /testfor @e[type=Zombie,name=Test1] {ActiveEffects:[{Id:8b}]}

    That's a TestFor...? If I can't find anything else I'll use it, but preferably... What I meant by no repeaters is don't summon it and then repeater three seconds.

    I got it working (haven't tested it tho) should be /entitydata @e[type=zombie,effect!=6] That'll entity data any zombie without whatever 6 is.
