Arrow Storm

What is the point in the arrow storm spell for archer? I use the bomb arrow instead because it is a better AOE and has higher damage while only using 1 more mana. What do you use arrow storm for?

 

In some situation it is useful for keeping enemies at a distance, since it has a relatively high knockback

 

I use storm a lot, because 2 reasons

1. I can knock back my enemies
2. They don't have time to react to it

It also comes pretty good when blinding enemies in the nether, and using arrow storm to confuse them

Wow saying all this makes archer sound OP

 

I think you're underestimating Arrow Storm...

60 Arrows on the final upgrade

The DPS is insane, even if you have no good weapons or armor which enhances your damage

The Knock-back can help in dire situations

If you manage to get your enemy cornered, then you will be shredding them apart in seconds (Problem is, there is always that one chance the enemy will be pushed into the wall... I had to fight the water boss in ToA 3 times because of this @_@...)

Arrow bomb (the highest damage I have gotten with Az) 40 thousand
Arrow storm (highest total damage I have gotten with Az) 60 thousand +

-It's good when all the arrows hit.
-If only a few arrows hit then it sux.

 

yeah, i guess if i can get all the arrows to hit it will do more damage than bomb arrow, thanks

 

Arrow Bomb is for burst damage and crippling/slowing enemies. Deals Earth damage. probably good for Strength Archers
Arrow Storm is for high knockback and keeping enemies at a distance. Also deals thunder damage, I think it's good if you're a Dex archer.

 

If every arrow hits in a tier 3 arrow storm it does a ton of damage more than arrow bomb tier 3...
