Has Mojang Gone Too Far?

For those of you who may not know, Mojang ( Microsoft? ) has decided that Minecraft 1.9.3 pre release and all versions up will have certain servers blacklisted due to the fact that they did not follow the EULA, personally I believe this fine but just wanted to see others opinions.

Note that these 30 or so servers had about 20 months to change their perks to adjust to the EULA

PS, if anyone makes a thread asking for VIP DXP back I will burn you </3 I want Wynncraft to stay up.

there are ways around the eula so vip's can get double exp

 

I love all the hate Mojang receives in the comments of these vids.
I'm happy that the list so far consists of faction servers, those need to die.
Some of these servers are selling 500 dollar ranks that give OP weapons every day :/

 

I remember there was once a server that had a $10,000 Package that gave the player the /god mode command, and the ability to make an infinite dmg diamond sword.

 

Factions are cancer.

Are you serious? I assume that server is dead, because OP player = everyone else quits = server only has $10000 because no one else wants to spend that much money and take down the OP guy.
Bad financial plan.

 

Like others have said, I think this is WAYY overdue. What has it been? Almost 2 years since they announced the EULA?

And personally I always hated those PAY2WIN servers. I mean it's practically forcing people to pay money, and the people who won't, because it's stupid, or CANT pay for it automatically become part of the "lower class" of players.

 

They haven't gone far enough, not until Mineplex is on that list

 

It sucks that they didn't make this across all versions.

 

Mineplex's are all visual...

 

It's not about that any more (even though that's what we are talking about now), but about how they are an un-honourable server. They aren't playing the game respectfully.

All I care is that SSM doesn't get removed.

 

Thank god for the blacklist. Most of the servers that were blacklisted (Minetime, Desteria) deserved it.

 

Aww man, that was the game that turned me into the swearing machine I am today, I remember playing as Wither skeleton 24/7 in 2013, those were the days.... Fuck those snowmen classes

@Ninjazzzzzz not sure about Minetime never played it but Desteria omg yes. Remember in 1.7.2 there was a server where a $350 donation got you /god and /fly in hunger games, 10/10 not Pay3Win
