Pvp is changing with that attack thingy?

I agree with you, but atleast it wont be that easy now, it will take some time getting used to it :D

But the cooldown is good, at least PVP isnt like a ddos anymore


basically a ddos sends packets and then whoever has faster internet, the ddoser or the victim wins

basically a 1.8 pvp match is where two players fight and whoever lags more / has worse internet loses

 

Being neutral between the two sides of 1.8 and 1.9...
..1.9 really isn't all bad. I know it sucks that we can't "spam click" our mouses anymore like we used to.. but at least there is some skill in pvp now.
It's not all about lag or how fast someone clicks anymore. It isn't. Now it's about who can time their attacks and move around gracefully in order to kill an enemy! There's also new combat mechanics that actually make the game more challenging with new types of attacks!

I know 1.8 combat is dear to us but seriously. Do you really want to spend jitter clicking for 8 minutes against someone who has a stack of 1.8 effect golden apples?

 

I don't like 1.9. :(

 

I'm not really a PVP person myself.

I'm actully more in contact with PVE instead of PVP.
And i can definitely say it was a good choice too add the cool-down.

Not only does it make fighting mobs more difficult and fun.
The cool-down made it so that PVP is not a game of who can press left mouse button the fastest.


So when 1.9 finally released.
I was happy i knew it would remove the annoying game of who can press left mouse button the fastest.
It also created a whole new level for map makers like myself.

Now adventure map bosses aren't a game of trap it in the corner and keep hitting it untill it dies.
( Indeed you can't trap bosses in corners anymore i've tested )

So too get evrything straight, 1.9 is alot more balanced in terms of PVP and PVE
And yes everyone has his own opinions.
And with that poeple should stop hating on minecraft 1.9
Because on thing changed doesen't make it a bad update.

And personally, i find it dumb that poeple are still ranting and making post about the new 1.9 combat system.
We get it you don't like it but theres enough poeple that do

Mojang changed it too be this way and it will stay this way.

 

I have won only one 1v4 before
I was full dial with a bow and arrows versus 3 full iron and one full dia ( I bowspam a lot lol )
I won cause I had gud ping and I strafe and combo and do shiz
I regret I didn't record that moment :(
Ofc that in 1.8
In 1.9 I would get rekt by those players

 

It isn't that bad. Old PvP was literally just clicking as fast as you could, it's not really that fun and IMO it doesn't require any skill. It just requires a good hand and connection.
