Media Interesting Damage Values

As I was trying to test a build for my new Assassin based on melee damage, I noticed something interesting with its spell damage values.

So I was just randomly running around Nesaak, throwing smoke bombs around, when I noticed this odd value for the spell damage. (I was using Olux's Prized Dagger)


-(-44) Neutral Spell Damage

-(-44) = +44
Because a double negative integer equals to positive integer.

Does that mean it heals the enemy for 44 Health?


I was using a jester ring and a jester bracelet to boost melee damage, which also decreases spell damage.

Negative plus a negative is a larger negative.

Negative times a negative negates the signs and multiplies as if they were both positive.

Negative to the power of a negative makes either a positive or negative fraction(depending on whether or not the negative power was even or odd determines negativity/positivity) BECAUSE LOGIC.

Can one use negatives in arrow notation (the condensed form of raising to a power repeatedly)?

 

Can we please just enjoy Wynncraft without thinking about linking every bit of the game to mathematics?

In fact, up until a few weeks ago, someone, I don't remember who it was, was healing mobs just under these same conditions. Shortly thereafter, Salted responded with 'it's fixed'.

 

Mathematics is everything. That's like saying can we build a giant wall on the Mexican border without mathematics.

Life is so cruel, mathematics is already kinda hard and than it reproduce into an additional math. Sometimes I question myself, why I chose that subject.

- - damage, last i checked, does in fact heal the target. Additionally, the way - - damage is attained, according to my tests, is simply having -raw spell. Regardless of neutral damage you should be doing, the damage reverts to the value of the -raw.

Unsure how this bug would even occur tho :/
