Mazes

So I was just reading the guidelines for being a GM and came across this rule:

4. Don’t make any mazes. Ever. Those are the devils. No seriously. Ever.

So I have just done the quest Heart of Llevigar which, as some of you may know, has a INVISIBLE MAZE. Now for those of you who haven't done it; If mazes are devils then invisible mazes are like satan. So how did this rule break come to be? I was just wondering.

 

At least that maze has a way to guide you.
Also this shouldn't be in general suggestions...?

 

It's not technically a maze because... well, look at the ceiling.

 

But its still "technically" a maze, right?

 

That maze was so terribly easy but still, a maze.

 

You can look at the ceiling to easily solve it. That hardly counts.

 

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I hit that thing and thought "There is no way that there isn't a hint for this", so I looked around. The old saying "The hardest place for devs to get a player to look is UP" came to mind and BINGO! There it was. The key to the invisible maze. Whoopee. If this old wabbit hunter can do it, you can too.

 

I found a big cave near the statue of Kandon-Beda, I entered and somehow I found a door whit a puzzle, really simple doe (press a hidden button ) then a maze came out. After the maze I got teleported in a room whit 2 "black teleport doors "( future quest I think )

 

Almuj's emerald maze, although it was easy, was a maze as well. Was the rule made AFTER the jungle fever quest?
