Media Defense Is Bugged - With Video

so defense , skill points in the compass is bugged af , pretty much it doesnt work against elemental damage only against neutral.... to the video proof

I don't think defense is broken, I just think agility is way too overpowered.

And anyways, if the defense skill did support elemental protection, I would be completely invincible. Considering my knight has 80% defense (without war cry) and 100% defense with it.

 

without supporting elemental protection defense is nearly useless to have
elements are nearly all of the damage in the game neutral damage is rare to come by

Hmm, I seem to remember the description of Defense stating that it only reduced neutral damage taken anyways, but checking now it just says it reduces your damage taken with no specification. Not sure what the actual issue here is: A mistake in the description, or a bug with defense.

 

if its a mistake inthe description honestly it should also apply to agility :(

just checked it , it said and i quote "Reduces ANY damage you take.... "

 

War scream % is separate from defense %. They obviously stack but not as an extension of the stat. If war scream is 20% reduction, it should be something like: 4/5 * 1/5 (around 1/6 damage received)

But if defense didnt help against damage that SCALES then its useless compared to agility in both pve and pvp.

Also, I'm going to guess that this problem is found in the damage calculations of the code, as that is very very broken for a lot of reasons

And now that I think about, defense stat is totally useless vs. elemental damages. Considering I still get oneshot by dexterity archers with Az, even though I have 150 def and 17k health
