So ive been wondering.. if dern comes out what will the quests be like? (probably all involving caves or something) But that got me thinking..

According to the wiki, Dern is a thing as it is mentioned in the storyline. It will come soon™, don't worry.

its ok to get mixed up sometimes.

Dern is a province engulfed by darkness. it is referenced in a lot of item lores and quest stories. its also the place where the mages learned their teleport spell.

No. Just, no. I get that you like Undertale and all, but SERIOUSLY. stop trying to bring it into everything, it gets pretty annoying. (and yes, this is directed to the fanbase as a whole, who I legitimately feel like are almost as bad as the FNAF fandom. I wasn't trying to single you out) Just becuse something's popular doesn't mean everything should reference it. That's why there's only a few references to popculture in Wynn, and they all relate to LoTD; the story is set in a medieval era, and it's mostly timeless. Undertale references a LOT of modern popculture, and is pretty much known to take place in the modern era, which is one of the reason's it's popular. In five years, most people will end up forgetting about Undertale, or the hype for it at least dying down a lot, and everyone will focus on the next new thing.
Basically, just because it's popular doesn't mean it should be referenced.
(also, fitting a whole GAME into one quest sounds like a really, REALLY bad idea)

I dont mean the whole game i mean segments. and it fits with the "far off dark land" thing.
plus undertale is kind of based around medieval times, so it is kind of a good idea
