Spell Damage % Mystery.part 1~9001

I've got 2 mysteries which I'm going to through them.

1) When I cast meteors on Hive Scuttlers(insects which spawns near inside Hive) it displays that it took 0 neutral dmg even though I had 38% spell dmg ethereal. ( No elemental defence or something).
It might happen to other people too because my friend also saw that

2) Before I lost my stuff (chestplate leggings a ring a bracelet) I had 63% spell dmg(without wand spell dmg)
and then I got my stuff back by buying them. THEN I noticed that my chestplate or leggings doesn't have +spell dmg (Sea gazer and Crystal) +I have 17% spell dmg right now. I bought same stuff for armor but changed only accesory; could that affect like 40% spell dmg? It was only Jester bracelet and I think other random ring I lost.

1) I'm not sure if its not doing the damage or not showing it.
2) all (most) items have their average id's on the website, multiply positive id's by 1.3 to get the maximum and 0.3 for the minimum.

My ethereal doesnt deal any neutral dmg on anything...
So mystery solved? Ethereal cant deal any neutral until raw spell dmg will be added

 

Just noticed I can't deal any neutral dmg on anything

 

we got an issue open on GitHub but we are still trying to figure out if its only graphical (does net damage but doestnt give the nice visual for it) or if it doesn't do the damage.

 

I've been having the first one as a problem.
As for the second one, I'd have to know 1. how many jester items you used to have and 2. what the set bonus was when you had those items.
