Damage?

my best weapon atm is bobs mythic daggers and the damage is 170-210 neutral, but when i hit a mob its says about -250 to -450 health, y is this?

 

Because you have damage boosting gear?

 

yea, but should the mob not only lose 170-210 health??

 

No, say for example you do 100-150 neutral damage, and you have +10% melee, hat would become 100-150*110% so it would become 110-165 dmg
Same goes to Raw Dmg: If you have the same 100-150 weapon, and an id of +25 Melee dmg, you would do 100-150+25 so it becomes 125-175 dmg

 

or mybe you have points in strength ?

 

Why would damage-boosting factors not change the amount of damage done

 

The real question here is why you're questioning the idea of doing more damage than you think you should. I'd be pleasantly surprised and move happily along with my day ^-^

 

Dexterity I think

 

Damage is increases by a few factors. Strength increase the damage increased, Dexterity has a chance to double the damage you deal. Armor can increase the damage you deal with normal damage addivetivly or by a percent.
