Crafted Gem Bow?

Anybody know what the point of the crafted gem bows are? Got 2 of em...

Same point as the Cerid's Dynamo wand. It has multiple powder slots, so its use will come when powders are re-introduced.

I meant higher than normal.

Most items do not have more than three powder slots, and this one has four. Though, we have yet to see how much of a difference it will make...

 

as in that is what the slots mean xd

 

whats with the 2 many items mod. isn't that technically hax cuz u can get items u cant get

He shouldnt be able to do that as long as he isnt op-ed or under some other requirment.

 

Too Many Items/Not Enough Items/Just Enough Items will only spawn in items for you IF you'd normally have access to the /give command, since (I believe) the mod's coding is just a really nice interface for using the /give command on the item you click. These 3 nearly identical mods are all client side, and thus can be used on vanilla servers. This means that everything that they end up outputting to the server, no matter how complicated it seems, must boil down to vanilla mechanics.

Similarly, there is a client-side mod called VoxelMap, which has a feature named "waypoints." The mod allows the player to teleport to any waypoint they have set IF they would normally have the /tp command. Trying to hit the teleport button sans those permissions results in the printing of the standard vanilla "You do not have access to this command" error.

 

Think about the name "Crafted Gem" for a second, since it's a powder bow from what we've heard, you would basically be crafting it with powders to improve it.

 

Cluster has 4 slots.

 

tl;dr: You need op on a server for the mods to work. Except minimap which is client side.

 

And that bow is Lv 99. Crafted Gem is Lv 44, if I am not mistaken.
