    Pushing a metal ball with mass m with upwards velocity v, head-on colliding with this thread, undergoing completely elastic collison, suppose there is no acceleration due to gravity, which then allows this thread with mass M to move upwards with velocity V=2mv/(m+M), and uniformly displace until it reaches the position of the top of the Trade Market, and finally colliding completely inelastically with a very massive but stationary 'Trade Market Section Info Thread', which then leaves this thread at almost 0 speed, awaiting other collisions between other users and other threads.

    problem is you can't suppose there's no acceleration due to gravity coz there is

    If you say the gravity is perpendicular to the motion aka normal to the motion, you don't need to take gravity into account
    Just like you don't hv to calculate gravity when you calculate momentum change between two object on a table
