Anyone Notice That Qira Is Iraq Rearranged?

Does this mean that there will be a boss that's Iran rearranged who was at war with Qira?

Well, to be serious, it probably wasn't intentional. Idk. Maybe that now you've mentioned it, maybe there will be one.

 

So maybe Nesaak really is Canada...

 

And some weapons... such as Rewind, and the fact that in the game Life Is Strange...

There is a Tornado that is coming from an ocean/lake thing, and the game is focused around the ability to rewind time... the water element is the body of water the tornado is on, the air element is the tornado itself, and the weapon rewind is an unintentional reference to it all

 

I actually did not make the name Qira. I took over the quest from Acer, who had created the name. I have no idea if he was making a reference to something, but I certainly was not intended anything.

Yeah, if you look around you'll find a lot of "strange" name rearrangements...

 

...I got that off a random name generator...and besides that, even if it were an intentional anagram, it certainly would not be a very fitting one. I mean, Anast is to blame for nothing except a small lapse in logic and temper.

 

If you're all curious, I know how Qira was named. It's been a long time, but if I remember the story correctly:

Way back in Summer 2015, both the area and the quest were called "The Hive" There wasn't much of a cemented story at the time and we hadn't really found a way to incorporate the spider theme with the elemental gimmick. One of the builders suggested naming it something better than just "The Hive" by taking a name from a race of insect people in World of Warcraft, the Qiraji (I don't actually remember the name but a quick google search came up with "Qiraji" so I'll go with that) but shortened to "Qira" Thus the new name for The Hive became "The Hive of Qira", later shortened to "The Qira Hive" After some discussion over this, it was also decided that it would be best to name the boss Qira too, so the name would make a bit more sense.

 

I did not even know any of that. I just was saddled with the task of "Fix this quest" once it had already gotten to the point of being called The Qira Hive.
