The Story Behind The Scroll Merchant...?

I was walking around in Ragni and then I found this:

It looks like he wrote a letter or something.
I already tried, the parts don't really match together
It's in the scroll merchant (you can see the coords in the top left screen, 5zig ftw)

What do you think?
And I never seen anyposts about this

 

I say his mum got trapped in Dern and he's spent his life trying to teleport there but hasn't manage to get his scrolls to pass through realms yet

Im more interested in the author though

 

Possibly a Myst reference? Considering that they're both based on teleporting pieces of paper that materializes you into another location, and Wynn's costing a "Soul Point," maybe there's a hint for a quest up and coming?

 

This has actually been around since 1.12, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. I honestly always hoped that this will be some part of a bigger mystery, like the clocks or something. Nice find!
