Art Cascade Falls - Game Development - Art Gallery

So, recently I was assigned a project at school that involves creating an educational game with the intents of teaching players about a certain subject and using a game to do so.

My partner and I settled on the idea of a game that takes inspiration from titles such as Stardew Valley & Harvest Moon, except without the whole gifts-to-marriage schwing, and instead it houses a slightly more realistic environment. Splitting up the work, I'm responsible for most of the artwork, while my partner is responsible for the game logic/coding.

Honestly, I think I have the harder share of the work, but hey, this could be fun, so why not?
I'll regularly update my art progress on this thread, so if you want to leave feedback for existing sprites/ideas for the next batch of sprites to work on, feel free!

Your school seems very interesting! Games are an unique and novel form of art, and being fluent in game development is certainly a skill to be looked up to.

Your artwork looks beautiful, cute and soothing. Reminds me of Undertale and childhood games. I wish you two luck!

 

What Engine/SDK is the game being made on?
