This is the last Stair Fax thing I'll post on the forums, promise... maybe... :P

This is the epic orchestral arrangement, not the giant video that awkwardly is put in the middle of the page just because I put in a YouTube link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1g9u3mvZziqQTFVTEZsQ0k5OExlRDRQd3hQQWZKbW1sdVow/view

This piece also includes the emotional piano arrangement I posted earlier () if you want to just listen to that part. Also if you want, you can read the huge, long, extensive, comprehensive, and in-depth description to better understand the whole song, or you can just skip to 3:20 and here epic Inception-style Star Fox ('cuz I made that a thing XD).

This song is the first track of the fan-OST to the fan comic project Star Fox: Delta, which revolves around events taking place after Star Fox: Assault but replacing Star Fox: Command. Basically, the premise is like the story of any other Star Fox game, just with a darker, epic-er, and more cinematic feel.
The song is divided into three parts, the first of which is an orchestral tribute to Star Fox adventures of the past, capturing the mythos classically associated with the franchise. The French horns open with the "Mission Accomplished" theme, with the trombones later interjecting with a snippet of the Star Fox 64 main theme. Then, a medley of less-well-known Star Fox melodies ensues: The violins start with the Star Fox SNES "Corneria" theme while the flute and glockenspiel duet juxtapose the heroic motif from Star Fox: Assault, while the trumpets later come in with the Star Wolf theme, all superimposed to capture the complexity of the original games' lore.
The second section is a quiet, more somber piano arrangement of the Star Fox 64 main theme. Instead of the usual corny arrangement of this adventurous theme, it was given different chord progressions and a darker tone to depict the aspects of the Star Fox story that are usually overlooked by many fans, such as its romance, tragedy, legacy-fulfilling, and call of duty.
The third and final part drastically shifts to an ominous, cinematic, action-movie-style arrangement of the Star Fox 64 main theme to show the possible epic direction the space-opera storyline can go and the potential this underrated franchise has for the future, which Star Fox: Delta hopes to do justice to.
P.S. Star Fox: Zero releases in 2 weeks o_0
