Yes because who would ever think being in the middle of a city where no mobs can spawn or lock on to you is safe right

 

Well, sometimes mobs spawn in cities (clowns in cinfras, idk if thats a glitch) and you have to afk a quite long time if you die and drop items

 

yea because the only city in the world is Cinfras


In all seriousness, the point is that cities are often used as places to AFK and regain SP, meaning those that are AFK are quite likely to be low on SP, meaning even one death could make them unfairly losing all their items.

Think of it like this: Say you're in an MMORPG where PKing is a feauture, but Cities are a sort of "safe-zone", mk? So, this PKer who wants your loot can't kill you. But, he can push you out of the City using a pushable wooden block. So he pushes you out of the city and kills you until you drop your loot, and boom, all your effort lost, without even knowing.

Actually that's a terrble way to think of it, so instead: Some people are assholes, and will use mobs to kill you until you lose your stuff, and then they steal it.

Last thing, the difference between those rare city-spawns and PMIs is that city-spawns are 1) rare, 2) Typically weak, and 3) Typically only 1 mob, while PMIs are 1) Typically large groups of mobs 2) Made up of strong mobs and 3) Specifically made to kill players, efficiently and quickly

TL;DR Cities are "safe-zones" and they should remain so.

 

What about someone riding you whilst you're afk, then they go afk. You come back first by coincidence and drop them off somewhere(possibly dangerous)? :P (just a thought)

 

People, be nice and dont do that. >:C But for real, next time it happens, people need to be sure to get names and such unless it has been taken care of already. Cause that's just irritating for that to happen. Cities are a place to be safe. Players being mean kills the game overall.

I feel like this is going to go around in a circle until we start debating what it really means to be banned, so I am going to close this thread because the question was answered.
