Is There A Maximum Distance You Can Bounce On A Slime Block?

I did some experiments on this myself, and this is what I got: (image above)
I teleported myself up to different distances and set a block at the highest possible bounce when I bounced on the slimeblock. From what I can see, the distances seem random, as lower distances were sometimes set higher than taller distances. The most blocks occurred at y=113, with there being 5 distances.

KEY FOR THE BLOCKS:

White: y=500
Orange: y=1000
Magenta: y=1500
Light blue: y=2000
Yellow: y=2500
Lime: y=3000
Pink: y=3500
Grey: y=4000

 

Well according to the wiki the max bounce height is 57.5 blocks...
I'm kind of curious about this as well, I will do some tests if I have time.
