What Is The Tortured Soul

i found this room underneath a tower from deltas to nessak and there is a door with a hopper with a picture of the tortured can anyone tell me where to get it

 

This question was already asked a couple of weeks ago. I believe it has to do with some unfinished quest or project. You don't need it for anything and cannot get it at this time to the best of my limited knowledge.

 

I heard it's a drop from some mob near the Twain Manor, but that's just a rumor. Throwing it in the hopper opens a door into some room, but I'm not sure what's in there.

as of now I claimed that dungeon as my own.

they indeed drop a charcoal item but not the right one.

I just got one from killing a slime called Jumble in a tower near some of the corruption spikes. He was a boos at the end of a dungeon of cultists.
