The Newberry? (blueberry Helmet Update)

So, I was commonly exp grinding some mobs, with my Pre-Gavel Update Blueberry Unique Helmet (Shown Here):
And I came across another Blueberry Helmet with slightly better stats (Shown here):
My guess is that the Gavel Update Maker Peoples (GUMP for short :>) decided that Blueberry isn't powerful enough to stay a Diamond tier armor, and so they downgraded it to Chain. But that wouldn't make sense, because they UPGRADED the helmet. This confuses me, but more importantly, my question is, will this make the old Pre-Gavel Update Blueberries more valuable, due to the rarity and their unobtainability? If so.. Yay for people with old helmets >.>

 

It's just the level range
Level 1-20 Leather
Level 21-40 Gold
Level 41-60 Chainmail
Level 61-80 Iron
Level 81-100 Diamond

Before the update, it was just barely a diamond helmet, now it's in the chainmail level range.

There are quite a few exceptions, such as sets and some items like Legs of the Scared

 

Leg of the Scared being leather was a mistake; they were supposed to be Iron.

Content Team

 

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that some armor is (mistakenly) a different type than what is normally in he level tier. When every piece of armor in a range of 20 levels is the same type, it's somewhat boring. Seeing oddball armor types (usually, or probably always leather) makes the game a little more interesting in my opinion. Whenever I find an unidentified leather gear past level 20, I can't help but think "Oh, this might be interesting!"

 

Most of the leather gear at high level is just Hero's End, Calidade Mail, or Snail Armor. :/

Aw c'mon. You gotta admit, GUMP is more fun to say than Content Team, even if Content team is it's rightful name >.>

They didn't upgrade it's stats, you were just visited by RNGesus when you IDed it.

 

Content Team? Who'd use such a silly phrase! I only know them as GUMP!

 

The Helmet's stats weren't upgraded, you just it slightly better IDs on the second one.

 

I see. Very informative. Also, I want to point out, my entire set was made from Diamond to Chain lol.
Helmet - Blueberry (Duh, read the thread .-.) -
Chestplate - Tarnkappe
Leggings - Kratke
Boots - Talaria
All of them are under level 60, so I'm presuming that the 50s are all Chain tier now.

 

Lv 1-20: Leather
Lv 21-40: Gold
Lv 41-60: Chain
Lv 61-80: Iron
Lv 81-100: Diamond

There are a few exceptions, though, looking at the old Basic Armor, certain shop armors such as Woljawh(Chain at Lv 37), and most Set Armors are leather regardless of level.
