Could Someone Please Explain To Me Everything.

Unlike what the title says, I don't want to know everything about everything.

Just guilds. And only about why.

Why are territories so important?
Why are flame wars started so often?
What is the purpose of alliances?
Is the guild system as it is now a good system?

Please do not start any flame wars, I will delete this thread instantly if I see one starting. I just want a honest opinion, no opinions are wrong.

 

Sometimes I actually think the same things, but then I realize that I guess it could just be the leaderboards part, and the human desire to be on the top. If you know what I mean.

 

Yes, but how do alliances fit into that? I think there is something more...

 

it's basically finding stronger teammates to carry/train you and then betraying them to become the ruler of wynn.

 

I've never been a big fan of permanent alliances but from temporary alliances I've learned it's basically a way to keep territories more effectively. After all, if you're truced with them, they won't take over your land and you can level faster :D

 

guilds are probs meant to be for the community to interact with each other and help each other with quests but it didnt turn out as planned
its the need to be #1 ya know

 

1. Territories are useful because you get a % of xp and money that people grinding there get, which means free income and xp.
2. It's a whole us vs them mentality, honestly its stupid, but competition will do that.
3. To make it easier to mantain control over something, so you don't have to handle it all by yourself.

Should probably mention that this is the Guild's XP and Money, not the player's.

 

Oh! That makes a lot more sense with the monetary incentive.

 

I'm not too sure what guild wars are all about, the whole buzz over them. Why are there guild wars? What purpose do they serve?
