Best Place To Farm Mythicals?

I've never unfortunately ever gotten a mythical in Wynncraft before. And of course, I want to get one either to use or to sell. But I really don't know any great places to farm for mythicals. And no, I'm NOT looking for the simplistic answer of the Ice Caves. Considering Mythicals are around lv 95 and the highest lv mobs that spawn around the ice caves are lv 90, it'd probably be unrealistic to get one there. But I'm no expert on this so the Ice Caves might as well be the best place to farm mythicals. But I'm wondering if there's any areas in the Sky Islands that are good to farm for Mythicals (and also xp). So, I'm asking the community for good places. I'd like to know if say you can get a mythical from the ice caves or if you can't then where in the Sky Islands would be a good place to grind for em. Put the most information possible!

 

I've heard that people find a lot in Item bombs, so just look for them, I guess... idk, I haven't found one yet, sooo... yea.

There is a cave with magma entities underneath freezing heights. I've gotten two mythics there. Since the mobs are level 92 they can drop unidentified level 92-96 weapons. My mythics were grimtrap and grandmother which are level 95 & 96 I believe.


The ice cave mobs by the way will drop mythics because they're the same level as the magma entities.

 

I've got 1 mythic in a loot chest 1 in ToL there's also a good place :^)

All spelling issues aside, just grind somewhere with a lot of mobs. Chances are 7 in a million, so you just gotta kill a couple mobs to get 7

 

All locations are exactly the same. The only difference is the level of the mythic you find. Of course, this means that the area level you grind in has to be AT LEAST 65, as Pure is level 65.

I have a super secret spot that got me a mythic, a bunch of legendaries, and has great xp. No, it's not the ice caves. If you wanna know where, PM me or ask me in game.

 

Well, I mean, there's the spawn rate to consider. Higher rate = more mobs killed in less time = more chance to get a mythic.

 

A higher mob spawn rate can also make it significantly harder to get a mythic. From my experience in Frozen Heights, my inventory fills up almost too quickly for me to get anything useful. Like 3-4 different junk items drop and there are shallow dark pools of water that can obscure many drops. The high spawn rate means dropping an item to pick up another isn't always viable. Most of the time I'll end up picking up more junk items or emeralds, if mobs don't push my away from the item I'm trying to pick up before I drop something.

tl;dr, junk items are a pain and make it hard to pick up and look at items on the ground.

 

Good point. So, rather, in theory a higher rate makes it more likely, but in practice, it can be beneficial or it can just make it harder.

 

I got a grimtrap at the ice caves at level 87 after farming for 2 levels. This is a really rare occurrence so I wouldn't count on it happening again for me D: There really isn't a good place to farm them but the ice caves are a decent way to get them even though ther a like a one in a million chance to get one. Item bombs are another good way to get them but there is a really good chance that someone else will pick one up

 

Well yes, there is that. In which case, these grind spots would be good for good spawn rates and the mythic chance:
- ToL
- Hive?
- Magma Man Cave
- Freezing Heights
