New Useful Tools For The Community!

New forums member Syaoran3 and AscendedKitten have made a few useful tools for the community; among them are a guild territory viewer and a player stat viewer.

Syaoran3 has created a new unofficial guild territory viewer which caters to all the war-active guilds on Wynncraft and contains numerous informational boxes. Within each box is the name of the territory, the owner-guild’s name, and the date it was acquired. It doesn’t take the place of the old territory map, but it will most likely prove to be helpful in the future as guilds look for territories to conquer.

His player-stat viewer is useful and applicable to everyone, as any user can view their own or any other user’s in-game stats. The page, which was also coded by @Syaoran3, is quite detailed as well as formatted neatly. We recommend that you go check it out yourself by typing in your Minecraft username after “?user=”.

AscendedKitten has also made a Java based player-stat viewer program. Similar to the previously mentioned player-stat viewer, this program shows you pretty much everything that is needed from the tool. This downloadable program is in it’s very early alpha stage and the creator will continue to improve her program.

Former Ordo Guilds Join Astra And Valkyrie!

Following the collapse the Ordo Malleus alliance on the 9th of March, five of some of Ordo’s most prominent guilds have moved over to join the Astrafteri Affinity or Valkyrie Alliance.

The three guilds that were accepted into Astrafteri Affinity were Hackforums (Hax), Libertas (Lir), and Necronomicon (Feq). “As we said, we don’t reject anyone,” says Astra co-leader @coralialia, “If anyone wants to join, they can, unless the leaders thing that we have too many guilds and stop all new recruits. When the previous Ordo guilds wanted to join us, we let them. We know that just because a few members in Ordo were toxic and started flame wars doesn’t mean their guilds are guilty.”

The other two former Ordo Malleus guilds were HaHaUnited (HHU) and Holders of LE (HoL) who moved over to join the Valkyrie Alliance. Though the details of their acceptances and the alliance’s plans have been shrouded in secrecy, the alliance has publicly promised to make new high-quality graphics for the guilds as well as to help in redesigning their threads.

Imperial Hosts Their Second Award Ceremony!

Imperial held an eventful Award Ceremony at Llevigar on March 21st.

It was around 9 pm CET when most of the guests had already gathered around in Llevigar, and a slight uproar set in as soon as the Empress began her speech. After the medals—where each recipient was also given a custom signature with medals designed by LoveLusting—the event continued with the appointment of new ministers, each one responsible for performing certain tasks within the guild.

For the closing Kvmilla invited LoveLusting up onto the stage to announce and give a welcoming speech to the two new guilds that would join the Valkyrie Alliance: HaHaUnited and Holders of LE. Finally, the festival didn’t just end with the program, but was carried on by the crowd with cheer and a lot of item bombs, making it an unforgettable day for everyone who participated.

Shtafjord Talks About His Builder Life

Builder Shtafjord shares with Gavel Gazette his experiences as a builder for the Wynncraft Content Team.

Wynncraft is full of amazing builds—cities, caves, biomes that we all pass by or hang-out in. These builds are a part of the server's atmosphere and we have the Content Team's builders to thank. We at Gavel Gazette may not be able to give you a full insider on what happens on the build server (yet) but we were able to interview their members. Gavel Gazette teamed up with Valkyrie’s Project Awareness and interviewed some of the Content Team's members about their experiences being a part of the team to what goes in the build server. For this week's GG issue, we interviewed @Shtafjord and here’s how it went:


Why did you choose to be a builder?
I saw that Grian had made a thread for applying to builder and I had been making maps, tutorials and stuff like that in the past. People seemed to like it. Some people even told me that I should become builder, so I gave it a shot (and failed, but I got vouched into the team by Headset_O)

What areas did you build?
I mostly just make smaller details around the map. For example: vines, easter eggs, caves, quest builds, structures and organics. So I guess you could say all around Gavel.

How is the atmosphere on the build-server in General?
If you have ever seen one of Grian's streams you know it tends to get chaotic at times, but it's a fun mini community (About 80 people in total). Builders work on things or have fun with other builders/GMs. But GMs tend to often stay AFK or ask builders to do work for them. Then there is Salted with his AFK marathons.

Do you have a favourite memory from building for the server? Why is it your favourite?
Probably Gavel week, on the third day. I had just gotten my new builder rank and was working on one of the ruins outside of Llevigar. It was my first day on the build server, I remember my friends talking about how I had just gotten new builder and such in the stream chat.

Hopefully this gave you an insight of what it’s like to be a builder. If not, you could always apply for builder. Or wait for our next issue where we’ll interview another member of the Content Team, for less hassle!

I dont think so, I've looked through the code and it seems like it is just what is advertised but I will make sure that no information can be stolen by using the mods I add to the pack. If I can get this mod updated then it would be amazing.

 

If it changes up the inventory, and adds a Quest tab, among other features, I'm fairly certain it's the same one.

Oh, I know. When booting minecraft using the mod, does it ask you to log in?

 

I haven't had chance to run it yet because it was for 1.7.10 but if I just check through the code I should be able to find out. I'll let you know in a few mins.
