SPOILER Gavel Relics!? What? | Yellow Powder Iv

Okay.. so I was doing the "From The Mountain" quest after I turned level 67.. soon after I discovered something very strange.


A mysterious yellow cave.
I was sidetracked from the quest and found this about 50-100 blocks away while looking for a quest item.
I decided to follow the deep cave down and found this from deep in the cave:

Wait.. WHAT?... a GAVEL relic!? No wait.. this HAS to be some sort of NPC..
I walked toward it then four level 45 Iron Golems appear, I managed to kill 'em with my bomb in an instant.
Then we find this:

"Yellow Powder IV Relic"
Okay.. what the heck is a Yellow powder?
Well.. I can't actually tell you what it is because of one thing:
I touched to claim and nothing happened. NOTHING.
What's surprising is that there is such thing as a Yellow Powder.. but a tier IV? is this possible at all?

So I climbed up out of the whole as more iron golems spawned. I got excited because of the rumored release of powder applying merchants.

Edits:
After a bit of research, this place has been found before and there is more of 'em up to even tier V! :D
I already know that most of the community already knows that these new powder exist.

isn't there some sort of rule against showing the locations of relics? I think that was a thing a while ago.

 

I feel like the spoiler tag is pointless if you put the thing that's being spoiled in the title...

 

I think you can only place in wynncraft and gavel, but you can't show the coords of the relic.

 

Oh dear.
In the Gavel update that released a few months ago, the powders got a rework. They're currently not working though.
Anyway, there are now six levels of the powders, I to VI and 5 different powders. One for each element (I assume). The one you found is presumably the Thunder powder.
Hope I cleared some things up. c:

 

There are 5 color of powder relics (assuming it's for the elements) ranging from tier 1-6. (You put tier 5 :P)

 

While you're not allowed to show the co-ords, by saying what Quest he did in finding it, he revealed the relative location of the relic.
@Kyappu I suggest you remove the quest's name, or the mention of a quest as a whole.

 

Wait wait wait.... If relics can't be shown, then why can a youtuber on here show places of all relics.........

 

I ask myself that question everyday and am still unable to come up with an answer. Kill me please

I thought relic coords were allowed except for armor/weapons/emerald....
I believe Grian said something about that....

 

I agree. You can show the location of Powder Relics, but you can't show the location of the Weapon and Armor relics.

 

It is allowed to reveal everything about the powder relics, you can reveal the locations of armor/weapon relics but not the cords.

 

tbh I don't think it really matters. If it's wrong the mods will remove it.

Anyways I'm pretty sure yellow powder will add lightning damage/defense to your weapons/armor.

 

It's allowed to show the location of relics though, but just to tell you the truth, the coordinates were already revealed.

Because it's not illegal to give away powders, but it is illegal to give away relic locations of say...a bow relic.
