Two Possibly Undiscovered Easter Eggs (potentially Connected)

Now, I'm going to apologize in advance if these have been found before, as I highly doubt I was the first to discover either of these, but I thought I'd try on the off-chance that I was. Now, I haven't seen either of these on the forums before, and I usually read most "Easter egg found!" type threads and I've never seen these two shown before.

Strange House:​

Now, the first of these two easter eggs is this strange house in the Canyon of the Lost, near a small Gnome settlement and the Bantisu Temple.

Now as you can see from the second picture, there doesn't appear to be a normal first floor of the house. Rather, it leads to small cavern beneath the house.



Things that spawn down here are a couple "Ropers", but other than that, there's not much here. If you go farther down into the cave, it changes a bit.




The only mob that spawns down here is called a "Parasite Slime". Now I originally thought this was just a dead end, like a lot of caves in wynn. Then I wondered what was with the broken wooden path, followed it, and saw signs I didn't notice before. (Even though they're clearly visible in the photo above.)



"Look up the water and find the answer" "Only then will this seal open" is what the signs say. Now when you enter the cave there are two small streams of water coming from the ceiling, neither of which I thought much of at the time, so I go back, and climb up this one:


What I find up there is quite interesting:

It seems someone who lived here before found some sort of tomb, then hid "IT" in the tomb, and in the second, he talks about some sort of shard. So I explore around the caves a bit, trying to figure something out, see if there's anything there. I unfortunately found nothing. So I exit the house, thinking its just unfinished, or like Ohm's Lab, the way to open it isn't in-game yet. Until I notice something off in the distance:

So I head over towards the fire. and I find this small cave on top of the waterfall. Not much in it really.


But one thing catches my eye. There's a button! Right above the small chair. I press it and it opens a small piston door, leading to this small cave:


If you follow the stairs downwards, you come to a small tomb. Here's the grave itself:


I deciphered it, although, being honest, it's not hard to figure out: "(Sword symbol) It is in our Darkest moments... (Sword symbol) That we must focus to see the Light."

So I mess around in the tomb for a bit, and I wasn't able to find anything else, there are buttons on the wall, but none of them seem to do anything. A few minutes later, I remember some of the sayings from the first easter egg mentioned: "Look up the water and find the answer" "I discovered a secret tomb in the cave". Is this the place where the person hid "IT"? What even IS "IT"? Is it the "shard" mentioned in one of the signs, or something else?

Although this very well might just be a coincidence, it seems like they are too close to each other, and the clues too similar to each other to be a coincidence. Though that's just my opinion, I'm sure a builder can point out if I'm right or wrong in my "connection" of the two.

I already found number one. It's a tomb that contains a tier 3 loot chest, there's a button in a nearby cave.

Number 2 has also been found in the search for Gale's Tomb.

I have seen both of these before, but I don't think they're connected. What makes you think they are?

 

He said "potentially." That does not make it automatically connected.

 

Exactly, so I'm asking why he thinks they might be.

This is one of the most interesting threads that I have see in a little while.

 

It does say on the one sign: "Day 357: I.. Must go back to the shard.." I think this is related to something with shards, WynnExcavation maybe? But wait... This is in Gavel... GavelExcavation Confirmed?!?
Jk but I really think the first one is related to WynnExcavation and the second one to uhh.. The Ancients? Because of the Darkness part.

Crazy Kitten There Is A GavelExcavation Well...There Is Only 1 Excavation Team And Thats WynnExcatvation But It Says In 1 Of The Quests If I Remember Right That WynnExcavation Is From Gavel!

 

Maybe this is related to the light dimension? Because the quest there also involves lots of talk about light and darkness. There's also a giant seal there, so maybe the person who wrote these signs broke though the hole that you can see in the seal, and saw something behind it? They may be referencing to the light dimension being a cave...

Or maybe my idea is pointless, which it probably is.

 

This part right here:

In both areas there's a waterfall, and according to a previous comment, someone said there's a small tomb in the cave under the house, as well as at the top of the waterfall. I never found the tomb under the house so I jumped to the conclusion it was the tomb at the top of the other waterfall.

Yeah, I've been taking screenshots of the guild chat and plan to change it soon, expect funnier screencaps in my sig "SOON..."

 

I remember finding the number two easter egg, I was searching for Gale's Tomb and I was sure I found until I saw that which had been mentioned previously in the search for Gale's Tomb chat. Also I like this translation better: It is in our dankest moments that we must focus toward the light.
