Wow... Stacking 2 Jester Rings In One Slot

My friend has two jester rings with the exact same stats - identical ! So she stacked the two rings in one slot! Basically she can wear 3 rings at a time!

Amazing! Will the duplicate xp% and loot% be counted as double?
Will the 2 rings worn be counted as two of a set?

 

Wow, that's something I actually haven't heard of. I know compass is generally not super accurate, but has she checked it with and without the stacked rings?

 

Im pretty sure its the same thing as fighting with 2 of the same sticks. It stacked because they were the same exact IDs and fences (the blocks that the ring is) can stack.

 

The compass did not reflect the 2nd ring's stats so the -25% in set bonus of wearing one item (for xp and loot) were reflected against the gear she is wearing. But knowing that the compass is not accurately reflecting overall stats, could a GM or admin shed some light here?? It would clear up speculation. Thanks!

 

I would assume that it isn't counted as double, but if it was, it would probably be glitch abuse and therefore a bannable offense.
